Elks Donate $5,700 – Benefiting the K9’s on the front line and Maine Childrens Cancer
On Dec 3rd, Karen Curtis attended a graduation of 4 veterans receiving their diplomas and their dogs having completed their training. Karen Curtis representing the Augusta Elks was there to present a check in the amount of $5700 which was the proceeds from this past summers “ Elks Summer Music Festival” benefiting the K9’s on the front line and Maine Childrens Cancer. The Veterans and our children are the largest of the many fund raising functions that are held at the Augusta Elks lodge each year. Attached are a few pictures from Karen’s presentation.
